These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tutoro (the “Service”), an AI-powered tutoring web application available at tutoro.live, operated by Tutoro (“Tutoro”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Tutoro provides a personalized AI tutor that teaches subjects of your choosing through a chat interface and short interactive lessons. Lessons and tutoring responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for general educational purposes only.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You sign in with a Google account; you are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others or use the Service on behalf of anyone without authorization.

3. AI-generated content — no guarantee of accuracy

Lessons, explanations, and other tutoring output are produced by automated systems and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. They are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it. The Service is a learning aid, not a substitute for qualified instruction or professional judgment.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
• use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others;
• resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission; or
• circumvent usage limits, access controls, or billing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, billing & payment

Access to interactive tutoring is offered as a paid subscription, which may include a free trial. Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the checkout, billing, payment, and applicable taxes, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. By starting a subscription you authorize recurring charges (e.g., monthly) until you cancel. Prices and plan features may change; we will give notice of material changes as required by law.

You can cancel at any time through your account’s billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Tutoro and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal learning. Lessons generated for you may be used for your own educational purposes; you may not present them as your own product or redistribute them at scale.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including AI model providers, hosting, and payment processing) to function. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutoro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
